Open the link - no account needed
The candidate clicks their invite link and lands on a simple start screen showing the test name, how many questions there are, and the time allowed per question. They enter their name and continue - there's nothing to sign up for and nothing to download.
An optional intro video and clear ground rules
Before starting, candidates can optionally add their email and record a short 10-second intro video - a simple way to get a feel for their spoken communication and language skills, whatever language you hire in. It's always optional.
The start screen is upfront about the rules: the session is screen-recorded for the hiring team, and candidates are asked to stay in the tab and avoid copy-paste. No surprises.
Clear, consent-based webcam recording
When a test requires webcam monitoring, candidates see a plain-language consent screen explaining that their webcam and microphone will be recorded for the duration, that the recording is stored securely and only the hiring team can view it, and that it's biometric data under GDPR they can request deleted.
Nothing records until the candidate checks the box and grants their browser's camera and microphone permission.
A quick camera and mic check
A live webcam preview and a responsive microphone meter let candidates confirm their devices work before they begin - avoiding the frustration of discovering a broken camera halfway through.
A focused test, one question at a time
The test itself is clean and focused: one question at a time, a clear progress indicator, and an optional per-question countdown. When webcam recording is on, a small self-view reassures the candidate it's working.
The entire experience is localized into 14 languages (including right-to-left), so candidates work in the language they're most comfortable in.

Before submitting, candidates get a review screen to revisit and change any answer. It's a fairer experience that reduces accidental mistakes - with a gentle auto-submit timer so sessions don't hang open forever.

On submit, candidates get a clear thank-you confirmation. Behind the scenes, the recordings finalize and the hiring team's AI summary, interview questions, and recommendation begin generating - but the candidate's part is simply done.
Frequently asked questions
Do candidates need to create an account?
No. Candidates open the invite link, enter their name, and take the test directly in their browser. There's no sign-up and nothing to install.
Is the webcam always required?
No. Webcam recording is optional and set per test. When it's required, candidates give explicit, GDPR-aware consent before anything records. Screen recording of the session is always on and disclosed upfront.
What is the intro video?
An optional 10-second video a candidate can record at the start, useful for assessing spoken language skills. It is never required.
Can candidates take the test in their own language?
Yes. The full candidate experience is available in 14 languages, including right-to-left languages.
